Jairo Restrepo "JR"

President

Jairo Restrepo, a proud combat veteran, dedicated four years of his life to serving in the United States Army. His commitment led him to deploy & serve during Operation Desert Shield | Storm from 1990 to 1991, where he served in theater as part of the 24th Mechanized Infantry | 77th Sustainment Brigade. Originally from Queens, New York, Jairo made the transition to Florida in 2000, where he pursued entrepreneurship & established his own I.T. Software development & consultancy small business. Today, he calls Maple Ridge home, embodying resilience, leadership, and a steadfast dedication to both his community & professional endeavors.

Vice President

Tom Schlessinger entered the Marine Corps at the age of 17. He served in VietNam as a radio operator for a mortar battery. He also served in Japan. A native of Wisconsin, he worked in the aerospace industry in California, Arizona and at Parker Aerospace in Naples. Tom resides in Maple Ridge.

Ernest "Gus" Zenker

Secretary

Gus is a graduate of the U.S. Mil;itary Academy at West Point where he also taught later in his career. He served in both Vietnam and Germany as well as several stateside postings as an Artillery officer. Following a career in the Army he worked for over 20 years for various defense contractors. Gus lives in Maple Ridge.

Treasurer

Bob Van Asten enlisted in the Army in 1968. A Wisconsin native, he was assigned to a Military Intelligence unit in Germany as a radio operator sending encoded messages into Eastern Europe. On return he worked as an accountant and small business owner.  Bob resides in Del Webb.

Sergeant at Arms

Eric "Ric" Wurzburg entered the Marine Corps in 1965. After training in electronics, he spent parts of 1967 and 68 in Vietnam repairing cryptography equipment. After service, he returned to Maine and worked for the phone company. Ric resides in Maple Ridge.
